OnePlus Shipping - How Can I Get It Shipped to Aus Via Pre-Order System

Hello,

As some of you may already know, Oneplus is finally introducing their pre-order system in 6days and you could now go to their pre-order website and save their purchase in the shopping cart. It won't ship to Australia which is really sad and I don't know anyone in the US or any of the countries that it ships to..So any way I could get it shipped to AUs:(?

Thanks

Shipping forwarders, but it's expensive cause you're essentially paying for a round the world trip for the phone!
Delivery from China to USA, then from USA to Oz!

    • Yuck…so I might as well just purchase one in Aus which cost 100 bucks more than the original price…

      Thanks!

      • Yeah, Forwarding will cost ~$50 extra on top of OPO+Shipping to USA..
So probably works out the same.

Alternatively, it could be a good excuse for a holiday to the USA!

        • no leave :( haha

        • Yeah, it makes it a fair bit more expensive.
But if you have other potential purchases that don't ship here (like some amazon stuff) you can combine them into one package and save a bit on shipping.
That's what I did. Made it a bit more worth while.

I might be wrong about how what you are saying, but it seems like you think the oneplus one is shipped from china to the usa address. What actually happens is that it is manufacture in china (like all other products) and then they are shipped from the factory to their warehouse in the USA. So you are only really paying for the phone to be shipped to a different address in the USA.

Check the Whirlpool Wiki Thread for OPO, I find it very useful.

It will cost you approx $450 AUD for a 64GB version if you purchase directly through OPO (including all shipping costs)

DWI ebay store is also selling the 64GB for $478

You will receive the phone quickly if you buy it from DWI… don't forget the 2% cashback for ebay purchase from cashrewards, which will reduce the price to ~ $468

    • Yeh so the ones from DWI are the Chinese editions but flashed to cyno? I heard it's pretty much the same as the original ones.

      Thanks

      • Yes DWI will flash the phone to CM11S.
I bought the 64GB version from them during the ebay promotion, came with the CM11S and received the 38R OTA update last week. So far all seems OK although I'm not heavily using the phone at this moment.

The Whirlpool Wiki page is very handy. As per this page there is no significant difference between the two versions except 4G band frequency which is not applicable in Australia.

  • I got my 64g from china for about $380 and it works perfectly well beats everyone in that price range….
