Problem with a purchase from Foot Locker

I bought these NIKE shoes last week from foot locker. Tried them in store without any problem.
after I warn them for two times (around 6 hours) I feel they are uncomfortable like there is something stabbing my foot when I walk and today after I take them out I found there are burn marks in my foots in the same area where I felt the stabbing.

so wondering what is my rights here? is it possible to exchange them? any idea?

  • That sounds really strange - is it the in-soles causing the burn?

Are you wearing socks? I can't see how you'd get burns directly from the shoe if you have socks on. Anything that's not sharp and protruding would be rubbing against your sock and your sock will be rubbing on your feet.

Is there anything sharp protruding that's scraping your foot?

To be honest, unless there's something obviously wrong with the shoe, I'd say that your situation is comparable to getting blisters from a new pair of shoes. It might just take some time to wear them in properly and get your feet used to the shoe or the material that the shoe is made up of.

The only way to find out if you can exchange (or refund) would be to ring up and ask Footlocker.

I got the burn when I try to use outside the store. Yes I was wearing socks but the design of the shoes kind of stupid. I mean when the shoes bend while I am walking the leather bend inside which make it sharp and stab my feet. With the long use it made this big burn mark which hurts. this the first time happened with new shoes which make it strange.

I just went to the store and the manager saw my burn mark and what I mean by the leather bends which make it sharp but he said nothing he can do as the shoes worn and this is due to the type of material on the shoes. he told me to contact the head office.

Always buy shoes in the arvo when the feet are largest

    • You cereal?

  • which model did u get?

    • got Nike Capri III

  • aaahh u getting burns on the side or top of ur feet?>
we were thinking u getting burns on the bottom of ur feet

so either you shoe is too big, causing u to move inside the shoe and rub against the shoe
also the shoe is bending as its too big

or its too narrow as ur feet are too wide, causing it to bend and scratch

u can try getting another insole and make u feet higher, so it doesn't bend

    try that!
