This was released exactly 2 years ago so lots of people will be selling these on eBay soon if you don't mind a used one.
Having said that I think you'd be better off buying a current-gen cheapie than this. The battery life is rubbish due to an energy hungry 4G chip (even in 3G mode) and, in my experience at least, kernel wakelocks which there is no fix for (mdm_hsic_pm0).
I'm mainly after the GPS capabilities (GPS, A-GPS, Glonass) The S2 I have only has A-GPS.
Would you recommend the Galaxy S4 4G for battery life then?

My wife has been very happy hers. They seem to have got it right there.
Depending on what you want to spend the OnePlus One has good battery life but better specs.I want to stick to a Samsung. I like the style. The screens are getting a little to big now I think they had the size right with the S2.
Just have to find the right place to buy one now.
sorry cant help with price but i suggest looking at grey import s4.
