  • Does anyone know if this is worth buying? The price seems to be extremely cheap for what you are getting, a single jug blender cost about the same or more from department stores

    • +3

This typical *ogan POS only has a 250W motor, whereas you typical "department store" models tend to have 500W+ units.

The are also some exotic brands selling units with 1000/1500W+ motors. You can't expect much for $39, but I strongly suggest you give thought to spending more, on a more powerful device.

The other great advantage of buying from a department store is, should something go wrong they usually replace it on the spot.

      • Thanks, I was a bit sus when I saw the 250W motor too, I knew some family members spent close to 1k for the units that are close to 1000W (or somewhere near that) but seems a bit excessive….

  • Certainly seems a bargain but likewise unsure whether to buy.

  • Thanks xuqi.

  • If you only wanted to blend bananas, seedless oranges, seedless grapes and blackberries go for it, otherwise you should probably avoid this. Unless you don't mind seed/pip bits in your smoothies.

  • get the "Kambrook - Blitz2Go" instore at Myer ($44) although you can get it cheaper at GoodGuys ($39).

1 Yr return to shop warranty, not bad got one and love it!!

  • I bought one of these and the motor burnt out after the 2nd use. The motor can't handle much.

  • I was making a milkshake and added 3 drops of vanilla essence and it completely shredded the blade.

    • Just kidding.
