After trying various brands of shoes (black, business) over the years I've never found any as hard wearing as Colorado. I'm a brisk walker and other brands I tried wore out after only 3-6 months (sometimes less), worthwhile to spend a little extra and get the Colorado quality in my opinion. The grip on the soles of my 12+ month old pair have almost worn out (despite all stitching holding together nicely), so it was good to see 30% off on the web store to order a replacement pair.

  I have the Jasper II black shoes. They are comfy, have good grip and seem durable.
  I thought Colorado had gone out of business so tempted to buy another pair.

  I too have the Jasper2's. Not as good as the style they replaced. The eyelets are rough (cause the laces to wear and snap) and the soft surround around the ankle just has a thin coating which wears off leaving a grey foam showing :(
  But yes, comfy.

  I agree on the durability. I had a pair that looked quite like the Brent Brown shoes, but were lighter & had a lighter sole. I had them for years & wore them all around the world. They were my goto shoes and wore them most days. It was sad to eventually let them go.
