Noticed when I downloaded the iOS app and the PC version both allow me to view the Sky News channel without entering any subscription details.

Maybe not a lot of TV entertainment, but definitely good if following a news event or away from TV with an Internet connection.

    I think I use to be able to view sky news channel with my XBOX for free.

    Not very sure about Smart TV.

    I can confirm on Samsung TV's you can watch sky news without a fox sub.
