    • I will try next time, is it the one in Exhibition street or Russell street? and would it make any difference to visit on the weekends like special dishes and all

I've been to a few buffets and in my opinion, Melba at Langham hotel is the best buffet in Melbourne.

    • ^ this guy knows what he is talking about

    • I have seen the reviews on Urbanspoon, seems quite highly rated will give a try. Thanks Pink

  • If you liked Kitchen Workshop, then youll like any buffet!!

      kitchen workshop is trash man…

      • do u mean by the quality of the food or varieties they offfer

        • +1

both…quality and variety is bargain basement. Having said that though, Ive had me some of the best profiteroles around at Kitchen Workshop!

The roast beef may aswell be dry rubber. Most tasteless "roast beef" you could ever imagine. Completely flavourless soups. Oily rubbery calamari- and it wasnt even real squid, was that processed garbage.

  • Do u guys all pay full price for each visit? pls let me know if u have any deals

  • I have been to kitchen workshop and cuckoo in mt dandenong. Cuckoo is better for group gatherings as they have a live show which was pretty good and the settings and atmosphere was nice. Not a very big selection of food but some meals were really nice. I'd go there for the atmosphere again, probably wouldn't bother just for food.

    • thanks ddrex will give a try.

kitchen workshop (based on experience 3years ago) was quite average. Much of the meat was processed meat not the real deal. I guess you get what you pay for!

Melba's @ langham hotel is by far the best buffet in Melbourne and pretty decent value too considering whats on offer - pricing $85-100 (with $20-40ish discount using entertainment book)

    • thanks mate, how to use entertainment cards, does it need a paid membership

      • Its a book you buy for approx. $55

        • cheers mate, is it worth 55$ bucks?

        • yes definately. If you use it twice you have already saved $55. The rest is a bonus.

I buy it every year and save about $500 or so (I use it probably 10 times in the year it is valid).

  • cool, gonna get one myself. would u know any deals going now?
