HI, im looking to upgrade from my HTC one x and have the above two options. Both are 4g and will be on the 40 dollar Vodafone plan with a 5 dollar discount.. I am quiet happy with. Vodafone's service, so that's not an issue. Any thoughts on which phone to Get? Cheers

Both are good phones.
original S4 i9500 came with Snapdragon 600 chip.
but the Galaxy S4 you get from Vodafone is the updated i9506 (with Snapdragon 800 chip).
also you get slightly better battery and a better camera with S4.also keep in mind that voda 40 plan only gives you 500MB per month (I feel the pain of this limitation by 3rd week of every month ).
If you are data hungry then better go with Virgin as they give extra 2GB data. you get S4 for 40 with them as well.
May be you can try to negotiate a better data deal from Voda by pointing out virgin 2GB data deal.
