Cheap Place for Unaltered TV Shows: Please Help!

Hey guys, I just want a place for where I can get legitimate TV shows. I’d prefer something where I can download the TV shows rather than DVD discs. I guess something like iTunes. I’d love something where I’d just pay a low monthly fee. I don’t want new TV shows, mainly older science-fiction TV shows.

I don’t want to watch pirated shows because it’s possible that they’ve been altered by uploaders and I don’t want this.

Thanks for any help!!

    Netflix.
$7.49 per month for Netflix and $2.49 for the premium DNS access per month via Unotelly.

    • Thanks for your reply!

Do you know of a similar service that I can use without needing to use Unotelly?

Foxtel - meets all your wants (well except for low fee)(Oh…and ads..lots of them).

By the way have you got a TV yet ?

Thanks, but I'm not interested in Foxtel as I want to be able to watch the shows when I want…

      • The IQ box lets you record shows, series link (all shows in a series are recorded) download movies and shows. (can also download to other devices)

All controlled by easy to use remote (usually one button function)

As far as a no messing around system, slumping in front of the box, Foxtel would be hard to beat.

Only downside is cost and ads (although no ads in movies)

And besides, what better companies are there than Telstra and NEWS ?

While it's nice that you don't want to watch pirated shows, I've never heard of them being altered by uploaders (not deliberately anyway). It's probably harder to find pirated copies of older shows than recent ones, so it wouldn't be very useful for you anyway.

i know what you mean, having all those annoying commericals automatically cut out for you is just plain horrible!

  • Does anyone else know of a service I can try?
