Saw a poster for this in my local shopping center. It looks like a good deal if you get in early/this month, the link has all of the Ts&Cs.

And if the price doesn't motivate you maybe this "epic" trailer for the promotion will:

Just noticed that this deal appears to be valid for the HN $80 EFTPOS cashback too:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/169043
If these promotions work together you could get the AR5000 2.5kW from HN for $698.30. I may have my math wrong though.

  • I wonder if Samsung AC is any good. never seen one…I have LG inverter downstairs and it is very average and quite noisy. Upstairs I have 2x Mitsubishi units which are the best AC I have ever come across. So quite …..

  • why not Panasonic 2.6 KW one? buy it from Master with price match, about $815 delivered.

much better than Samsung A/C and much better on reviews.

this is the one i bought 2 weeks ago, no complain.

    • $695.15 vs $815 (unless I got my maths wrong)
Samsung external compressor is 10 years warranty vs 5 years Panasonic
The reviews I have come across for the Samsung unit mostly appears to be installer's issue.

What is "much better for Panasonic unit" ?

PS. I am looking and still deciding on a new A/C too so far the Samsung a/c appears to be very worth considering especially with the 15% cash back.

  • If any one is interested in the 8.okw model I just got it for $1850 (plus $85 delivery to Sydney) - thus down to $1572.50 after 15% rebate. I purchased from ACShop.com.au in Brisbane after searching around for a model that is eligible for the promotion..

Note also - the samsung terms and conditions do not cover purchases from Auction sites.. This is what Samsung told me on the phone.

    • $1835 for the samsung 8kw with free delivery from appliancecentral.com.au

I'm in the market for a 7kw model, but I think I still might go with my original choice of a Mitsubishi.

      • I'm just waiting for Mitsubishi to have a sale like this or Fuji. C'mon sale!
