Thanks - I promised myself I would resist it this year but for $32 delivered….bought.

  • very good price, went looking for these on sunday - best then was $44 less $8
this listing only popped up last night.

    • Did the same thing. Thought I would check one more time before the sale finished, was going to buy the $44 one then found this.

      • I could not resist $44 ones on Sunday. Got two posted for under $72 so was happy enough with that!

  • They have the star wars one for $10 more too…

    Aren't Advent Calendars around $2 - $3 at Target and Kmart ?

      For chocolate ones, yes.

For Lego, now that is a completely different story!

In all, it's not fair to compare chocolates to Lego in this case.

An Advent calendar is used to count the days in anticipation of Christmas, I don't think it matters what's inside…

I personally bought a Lego Set for little one and split it in 24 little packages … manuals, minifigs, bricks, …A bit work but much better value than the advent calendar.

    • Need to find a Lego set with 24 pages of instructions, would work a treat with the wooden advent we've used for the last 4 years. In the meantime we're using the Lego advent we got last year :D, kids still love it!!1

      • Where did you get that wooden advent from, looked on the site the image came from but can't find them?

        • I just found that image on Google, but its practically the same as ours. Fudge knows where we got it though :/

    • It depends - the only set I would really want to buy to do this is the lego Death Star:

      http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Death-Star-10188

It comes with 24 minifigures, so one each day!

But it also works out at about 8 times the cost of 2 advent calendars… :(

My kids have got one of these each for the past 10 or so years and absolutely love them.

The only other ones I would recommend are the PLAYMOBIL advent calendars - some of them are really cool!

How come it charged me full price??

    • enter code CWORLDOFTOYS once you have bought the item, but before you confirm the payment through paypal, there is a box which allows promo codes to be entered.

      • Yes that's what I did.
        It's showed the discount.
But the PayPal app sent me a msg that I paid full.
But I just checked email confirmation and it was ok.
        Cheers.

        • All good.
          Email shows discounted price.
Also I used code twice on to separate items.

  • Just got one. 6 left at 10.15pm

    Thanks to OP

  • Sold out while I was looking at the entry on eBay.

  • Damn missed out!

  • Ok go the lego friends one, could not resist at that price :) Thanks!

    • Bit too girly for my 6 year old son but I appreciate the heads up :)

  • The LEGO Friends one is still in stock…
