Good deal, high-res for a 19" LCD. Screen size is quite small but good as an all-in-one monitor/TV/DVD player. I know people use these a lot in caravans.

    Just about zero specs.

They sure don't want to tell us about it.

  • resolution is rather good for a 19inch monitor

    Google is great :)

  • Anyone got this? Saw a couple in Aldi North Sydney this afternoon…

  • I bought this LCD TV for a student friend. Tested it quickly and for me it seems to be a good deal.

    • The inbuilt TV turner picked up all channels including analog one.
    • Picture quality via digital is quite good. Analog in-turn really shocking.
    • Have connected my HDD Media player via HDMI and its played all my ripped videos.
    • DVD is a bit slow to read but it worked OK.
    • Using USB is not straight forward as the menu is hiding behind the DVD functions. However it played divx directly from the USB stick so it is a big plus. ( I tried to let it read from my external 1TB WD HDD but it couldn't handle this. It seems to be too large or too many files, perhaps firmware will fix this …)
    • Connected my MSI Wind via VGA and used the LCD TV as extended monitor. This was OK as well.

Verdict: Good deal for caravan, boat, student apartment or kid room. Hope this help. btw, ALDI sunshine, VIC still have plenty in stock.

  • does anyone know if these are still available in an Aldi Store?

    • Mr Internet & Mr Telephone are your friends.

      • Aldo website states no tel numbers available, cannot give advice on products or availability by phone

        • My apologies.

I just rang the NSW head office and they said they don't provide individual store phone numbers OR stock availability.

You have to physically go to a store and have a hunt around for what you want. Obviously better that you waste your time than theirs.
