Hey everybody, the bi-annual Criterion Collection sale is running at the moment with Barnes & Noble.

All Blu-Ray and DVD's are 50%, including pre-orders. Some really great movies on offer, in what could only be described as the definitive version. For anyone who doesn't know what Criterion are all about, here's a link to their site: http://www.criterion.com/

    Gee they aren't cheap! Might be good if you are looking for some hard to get classic on blu ray.

      Yea, gotta agree with that. They are basically the definitive versions of a release, though. They always come with a very nicely designed booklet, with artwork, set photos, essays, and a huge amount of special features such as new commentaries and the like.

      I own quite a few and have yet to be disappointed with any.

      Well Barnes & Noble are a US company, so yes prices are in USD. I believe, yes, you also need to sign up for an account to have anything delivered as well, which is pretty standard I think.
