Anyone know where I could buy good priced Mini Micro Scooters from ? Or should I hold out a bit longer with surely a Xmas sale coming up ?

  • There were some recent ozbargains. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/search/node/%22micro+mini+%22+s…?

When I researched this a month ago, I found that you can save at most $10 over the price at the official Aussie distributor considering it offers free shipping. $129 for a Mini Micro and $139 for a Mini Micro Sporty.

Other than that I found a Mini Micro with small helmet bundle for $159 and free delivery

Scooter Hut offers "Best Price Guarantee", a Mini Micro for $119. If you can find a shop local to you then you might get this price without needing to pay $10 shipping.

    • Thanks !

  • The cheapest I've ever seen it is at Rebel sport with 50% off - maybe set up a Lasoo search to see if it comes up again.

  • Thanks Kati

  • +1

Amart normally have 20% off storewide so you can buy the micro for around $100. About 6 months ago they had a sale on them for $80!

  • Storknest often have 20% off sales but don't expect they will now before Xmas.
Micros are great, we have the Mini and the Maxi, seems much more longevity in Maxi.
Our kids so confident on them, even youngest who just turned 2

  • Good question - I actually logged on tonight to ask the same thing.

Unfortunately, there's not much sign of any sales at present, and hasn't been for the past 2 months either. Fingers crossed something comes up between now and Christmas!

also perhaps consider alternatives such as y-volution y-glider?

    • Thanks Tonestar - after posting my question, I did a bit of research & have decided that the y-glider will be perfect. Just hoping Toys RUs or Kidstuff will put them on sale before Xmas !!

      • Thanks Tonester and ELH05,

Is the y-glider really a decent match for the Mini Micro? The Micro range get full marks everywhere and there are reviews all over the net, but info on the y-glider is more scarce.

Any more info or links greatly appreciated.

  • For anyone else who stumbles on this thread, Rebel Sports are currently doing the Mini Micro for $103.99, or the Maxi Micro for $151.99 today only for members (free and instant to sign up instore or online).

It's only 20% ($26 or $38 respectively) off their usual prices, but it's the best price I've seen after monitoring Micro scooters for the last couple months on the lookout for a Christmas gift.

    • Might have spoken too soon. Have been trying to process a purchase on their slow as sh17e website for the past four hours, but the sale keeps timing out and rejecting despite trying it on three different devices and browsers.

Seem to remember the same difficulties when they had their winter sale a few months ago. In conjunction with their underwhelming service in-store, their online presence is distinctly underwhelming…

      • How did you go in the end ? That is pretty good pricing. But thinking I'm just going to stick with a y-glider, hoping Kidstuff will out them on sale soon !!

  • @ ELH05;

Got the order in online eventually.

Not sure if it was via using IOS, or if demand had slowed down after 7pm, but it was a dog of a site. And whilst it kept showing my new gift card as invalid and wouldn't allow me to use it, CashRewards has already send my an email to say my 7.5% rebate is pending. Result.

  • Kidstuff is currently having a scooter sale - http://kidstuff.com.au/shop-online/outdoor-toys-sports-and-g…

    micro mini scooter @ $97.99
