I was buying something from Amazon to take advantage of their free shipping with AMEX, and added this item for $9.99, given that I was getting free shipping anyway. Normal price supposedly US$40.

This is mostly a good deal as add-on for those who do not pay for shipping with AMEX on an order totalling at least US$100.

According to bluray.com it is region-free.

For those adding this to an order above $100 to get free shipping, I advice you ask to get it shipped separately to get things faster, as this does not add to the cost.

  Much better off seeing if there's a bunch of movies you want to import rather than just 1 to save ~$5 and up to 3 weeks of waiting

    Like I said, this is more suited as an add-on when buying from Amazon with the AMEX free shipping offer. On its own it's still good but not great.

  I preferred the 3D version, but $9.99 vs $22.99, just couldn't bring myself to it. Also got X-Men First Class for $3.99. Pretty hard making up $100 from $3.99 titles!

  Got mine. Box says region A, but plays fine on region B player. Box is lying :)
