2.1 speaker for PC suggestions - Mainly for music

Hi all,

Recently my logitech Z506 blew, probably because I haven't used it in a while and tried to do too much too quickly with them.

Currently looking to get myself a decent 2.1 setup as I no longer need 5.1 for my PC for gaming. Have been on whirlpool and am tossing up between the three below.

HK Soundsticks
Edifier C2XD @ $169 from PCDIY
Microlab FC362 (possibly with the control) @ $73 from Mwave or $78 w/ control from itech

My budget is ~$150, though would prefer to be under $100. I'd also prefer to have a digital input on the set. My question is;

1) Would digital really make much of a difference? I know it should have less loss in quality right?

2) Which of these would be best for music? I listen to anything that isn't rap.

As the space on my desktop is limited, I think these three are the only ones that I can fit the satellites on my desk. Are there any other suggestions for compact satellites that produce good quality sound?

Thanks!
