      You have to turn off HOLA before getting to paypal, I believe you have to do it just before you login. Just keep trying different places to turn it off, or wait till someone can confirm it.

        Yes, normally with VPN and region locking, you switch off the VPN just before attempting to pay. You need the VPN just to get the better region locked price.

        As soon as I turn it off, the web page reloads. The item is then removed from the cart and I get a toast notification on the site stating "Um ou mais games estão indisponíveis ou você já os possui."

        I might have to try a different type of VPN, Hola doesn't seem to do it for me.

        Edit: FlyVpn not working either. grrr.

          Just login while you have the VPN running then when you have a button that redirects to paypal, turn the VPN off, before clicking the button.

          It still works, but of course it's going to be difficult as it's not technically legal or illegal. Also it's not the VPN, Hola works fine.

          Sorry Betabotx your method doesn't work as it refreshes the page and then removes your item.
          The way to do it is (if you are using Chrome):
          1. VPN on, add game to your cart and go to the checkout screen.
          2. Check pay via PayPal and click the pay button so the little screen comes up that asks you to login to your PayPal account.
          3. Go to your Chrome Extensions page in a separate tab and disable Hola completely (you should see the Hola icon disappear)
          4. login to Paypal and pay.
          5. Enjoy Game.

          The way i tested this method was searching 'What is my ip?' in google and it seemed to work.
          Hope that helps.

          I figured it out! It's actually two-factor authentication that's causing me grief, I had to go into my Account Profile and de-activate my Symantec Security card, and this time Paypal was able to login instead of showing me the generic login error.

          Thanks @dharlem39! I found that I had to disable Hola just after the PayPal pop-up started loading, otherwise it just sat there for ages.

      You can give the key you get from them to your friend but you can't "Steam gift" it to them. CD keys are added to the library of the account redeeming it.

    Borderlands: the pre sequel came in at around $30 for me, not $26 unfortunately. Can you really get that much difference in exchange rate?
