I just bought an amiibo figure today and was excited to have it paired with Super Smash Brothers for 3DS. I have been unable to do this and have tried everything I could think of. Has anyone else tried to use this and succeeded? What are some possible solutions?

The Amiibo update hasn't been released for the 3DS yet.
The update for the Wii U happened, I don't believe the 3DS update has occured for the game yet.
On a side note: Hows the 3DS? Size wise, hows the screen? Is it much smaller then the XL? It looks a lot closer to it then the original was.
The XL is still way bigger. The XL In my opinion is too big to be carried around in a pocket. The increase in screen size from the original makes it big enough to play on comfortably.
Hmm I need to go and compare the two for myself. Never had an issue with the size of the XL.
I love the XL. I've had all of them so far and love the larger screen.
You have a New 3DS right? The old ones need a separate adaptor which I don't think is out.
