Recommend Me Some Rewards Programs

Hello Ozbargainers, to get straight to the point I've always been pretty averse to all kinds of rewards programs for privacy reasons so I'm a nubcakes. But you've bought me round to the dark side :D

…so now I want to quickly get up to speed and start saving like all the rest of you possibly much smarter than me people ;)

So far in the list of things to get I have made a note of:

-AMEX credit card for free amazon shipping (recieved a PM about referral program: thank you you know who you are I will investigate and use it if it works out in my interest).
-cashback.com for various purchases
-Flybuys (Coles group)
-ebate.com

Other than that what would you recommend for me given that I'm:

-male, likes clothes and luxury brands (mainly to demonstrate a level of status to people that I don't have but that's my expensive problem, don't judge please)

-mainly food shop at Coles
-make regular orders from iherb, amazon and ebay that require shipping from USA
-make regular purchases online
-would definitely be interested in having virtual credit card number facility - I think I am correct that only Citibank & RBS offer this atm(?)

I would love it you guys gave me some more suggestions thank you.

Get your Amex and Flybuys. That's a start.

    Cashrewards is good too.

    • Yeah that's what I was thinking thank you - are Flybuys all the same or is there a specific provider that you reckon is best?

Just join at Coles. Fairly good points.

Where do you buy these 'luxury brand' clothes? You could get a MYER one card if you shop there at all. Their rewards program is alright for frequent shoppers plus their secret sales and super saturday sales aren't too bad.

Ebates for US purchases (especially if you buy from Neiman Marcus and Saks)

    • Cheers hadn't heard of that one and I made a note. All suggestions for me are good in this case :)

The citibank signature card was great but taking look at the website it looks like they have a annual fee on it now
