  • Be aware that this is a discontinued model.

  • How does this rate as a mixer? Obviously not a top end unit but is it worthwhile for the $$?

  • I got this for the wife last year, she has put it through it paces (bakes something every day) and has so far outlasted the kenwood kmix that was 3x the cost.

it surprisingly has metal sintered gears and a 800w motor usually seen in the more expensive $500+ models as opposed to plastic in most of them at this price point.

The only gripe she has mentioned that it doesn't have a splash cover and could do with a bigger bowl but its not a problem if she kicks it off slow. she has had a good run with it and at this point wants me to get her another from this deal.

Another one to replace that one year old? Why?

      • Nothing lasts forever.
The replacement is to replace the mentioned kmix

        • oh i see. but why need 2 exact same mixer?

        • Back yard meth lab. Lol jk. Wife bakes stuff for kids. 2 mixers improves efficiency apparently.

It was $99 at Target earlier this year. Not having a splashguard seems to be users' biggest gripe - can be purchased from manufacturer, though.

  • Mine came to Total AU $199.20 with code - pick up

    • Further in the description, the OP details a $30 prepaid card through Sunbeam after paying $199.20 to The Good Guys. So what you are looking at is correct.

It's not a $30 discount, right? Just a card for spending on Sunbeam products? Op title misleading? Sorry I'm not aware of the rules of Ozbargain.
