OK deal, but I stopped supporting bonds when they moved manufacturing to Asia to reduce costs, than INCREASED their prices….

    • For real?
      ….

What is going through their heads =.=

Very real. 2,000 Australian's lost their jobs because they weren't making profit. They said this ultimately would reduce price, except they've been jacking up prices ever since.

I'm not saying businesses should not make profits, what I am saying is I do not support a business that lied to everyone.

      Me too.

I remember when I could walk into any K-Mart/Target/Woolies/Coles and get a pair of track pants for under $10, 2 packs of boxers for $5 or so, they were usually the cheapest line in all of the stores.

Now their track pants are up there with Nike and Adidas at $40+ and $20 for a pair of boxers at normal price is ridiculous.

I used to wear bonds when they were cheap, but now its trendy they are a huge rip off.

I don't support them moving operations overseas but its hard to compete with manufacturing in Australia, but similarly to what Moots said the pricing should have at least stayed down or have gone lower (not gone up).

However I did buy a 3 pack of bonds sports socks a few months ago only because they were on sale and cheaper than everything else on the shelf while I was out of town and forgot to bring socks.

I would support them as an Australian manufactured brand, I would buy them as a cheap Chinese manufactured brand but I won't support them or buy them as an expensive Chinese manufactured brand.

The quality also changed since the Asia move. The quality is also a different standard to supermarket version vs bonds stores. 2 very different quality items yet same brand.

Agree, their socks are terrible now. They look great in the store, after you wear them a couple of times, they have lint balls everywhere and the fibres start to break apart.

I'm surprised people think it's still made here.

This should be the normal price now considering production cost
