OzBargain Mentioned on The Project (The Best Free Things on The Internet)

Got tipped off from another thread that OzBargain featured on a piece about "The Best Free Things on the Internet" based on yesterday's News.com.au article.

The Project: December 1

Skip to 38:55 You will probably have to watch a few ads before it shows up.

First approval by Tony Abbott then The Project. Prime time!

  • The Project also did a story a couple of days after the following news.com.au article.

Some of the examples The Project used in their story were taken directly from the news.com.au

I'm sure there have been many other cases where The Project have borrowed heavily from online articles and sometimes copied them word for word in some sections.

  • +1

    I just watched.

    1. "a few ads" is an understatement :(
    2. Great to see stock-video of neil getting featured on the national television again :)
    3. OzBargain was mentioned for just a few seconds :(
    4. At least it was pronounced correctly :)
  • sooo many eBay/Karcher water pressure cleaner ads…so little footage

    1. I'm guessing the sites that were shown as addresses on screen, static for a couple seconds, paid for that.

    2. OzBargain was almost grudgingly shown and referenced, with quick action slides and movement so it was difficult for most viewers to follow or even be aware that something good was being mentioned :P (Scotty, you help the people a lot and break a lot of the power of the corporations. You get good bargains mentioned here. They ain't gonna give you much air time :) )

    3. Okay, Zilch looked curious. I do want a new entertainment unit, since I finally got a digital tv :)
