FAQ KFC Vouchers - Why don't all KFC Stores participate in vouchers etc (Especially QLD/WA)?

Firstly, the Qld group is a different franchise group, which is owned by the Collins Group who also originally opened the Sizzler's chain in Australia. They have a different website and have stores in Qld, WA, NT & 2 in NSW, which is a total of 121 stores. According to their website, they are the largest KFC franchisee in Australia.

The rest of KFC which has stores in NSW, Vic, ACT, SA & TAS, comprising a total of 612 stores, of which they own & operate 160. The other's are owned by various franchisees. This group is operated by the Yum! Group which is also operates Taco Bell & Pizza Hut. The Yum! Group, is a spin off from Pepsi, who still hold rights to supplying Soft Drink to the majority of stores world-wide.

Also different stores depending on whether they are a franchise etc, may have different offerings to other stores.
EG:-

  • This Deal is not accepted at all stores in NSW
  • Shop-a-docket has @80 participating KFC stores listed in this promo. Only 1 store in the Newcastle area.
  • The current $5 popcorn chicken 'pop n go' combo is not available at all stores.
  • Some stores have Breakfast items.

Disclaimer: I have assembled this from some basic knowledge, observation, and a few websites. This information is as of 4/12/2014. I have put this together, due to the number of people that complain about an offer not being available in their area. I would suggest, if the issue is not resolved at store level, to contact KFC via Facebook or the website relevant to your area
KFC QLD/WA/NT
KFC NSW/SA/ACT/VIC/TAS

Feel free to add any corrections/advice etc #KFC #KFCAU #KFCOhYeah. I am hoping that anyone listing details for vouchers can use this as an FAQ in the future.

    I like chicken

  • Incredible insight, this is such important information. I would like to propose a law that All KFC's accept All KFC vouchers or face enormous penalties!

  • Glad I saw this
    Cool

  • Also, here's a little tip. A little chicken told me that KFC may possibly be doing tours in selected stores again in the near future, like they did last year. ;-)
    Here is the previous post

  • Also, the same little chicken said that some stores honor some deals/vouchers beyond the expiry date. I should have asked Chicken Little if the $9.95 deal was one. ;-)

  • KFC is now on Twitter @KFCAustralia . I am not sure what if this is the whole of Australia, or NSW/VIC/ACT/SA/TAS.
