  • lol. Guess its reasonable with free delivery. But MSY sells these for $2 and most markets or computer stores sell it for around that price.

  • I can get these at the $2 shop. I just bought 2 of the 100 packs for $2 each about a week ago.

  • +1

Yep agreed, $2 is the standard rate these days….that said, the postage on these will be $4.35 (price for a 250g parcel)…..there is certainly no profit being made here!

  • for the reasons above…

  • +1

Not all of us have an MSY or could be bothered driving there for something tiny like this. With free delivery it's an OK deal.

    • Agreed, also the last computer fair I went to cost me $3 entry, plus driving, plus the annoyance factor of mingling with swarms of sweaty unwashed geeks in a confined space! Even if I drove to my nearest store likely (not guaranteed) to have some, it's gonna cost me more in fuel than the extra here!

Decent deal in my books too! ;)

I'll give it to you that it may be an OK deal if you can't get to a decent computer store (even $2 shop) but it is only OK doesn't classify as a bargain, more like advertising.

…but I guess its people like you who allow OK deals to be posted on ozBARGAIN. $2-3 is the going rate but chuck it on ozbargain for double the price with free shipping and its a steal!

I guess it's people like you who post NO deals, but neg and whine about other people's! :p

        • -4

that may be true but it doesn't make what I said untrue, I guess some people can't handle the truth :p

i.e. this is NOT a bargain.

          http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=100%20cd%20slee…

what bargain is more expensive that the first 2 to 3 pages of staticice?

it is an OK deal for your average joe but definitely not bargain material but vote away.

          • +2

@motlking: As mentioned above, postage is over $4 just for this item. Can you provide a direct link where I can buy this online cheaper? With delivery to my door?

I've never in my life seen anything more than a 10 pack being sold at the $2 shop, but hey, I don't live in the CBD!

edit: Motlking, so you're going to vote me down instead of answering the question? I think you just answered it!

          • +3

@motlking: Most of those are paper sleeves, not Vinyl like these ones. First 2-3 pages, not accurate.

    • They're not exclusive to MSY, you local $2 shop sell these too…

  • They are usually about $3 from the markets or any cheap shops.
    So no deal

  • oops! now I kinda wish I actually read the comments before rushing into buy… oh well, doesnt matter.. it was only $5 : )

  • +5

i think its a good deal, my local $2 shop sells a 30 pack for $2. Also, with free delivery i don't have to get off my fat-ass.

  • No deal

  • +1

Yup I agree with what Davo1111 said above. I'd normally go to Officeworks for something like this and these are significantly cheaper, plus free shipping. Thanks BBA.

Good deal for people with no $2 shops around

  • +1

I believe it's $2 at Video Busters (movie rental place)

  • .

  • not bad, cause the price also include delivery. But you can buy for around $2-$3 in the reject shop, any 2 dollar shop…

  • I usually get packs of 50 for $1.50, but seeing how there's $100 and there's free shipping, I guess it's worth your while if you don't live close to any store.

  • Is a reject shop like Crazy Clarks?

  • +2

Still shows up at the same price and with free shipping when I just checked, $4.95 and free shipping so I don't know it shows as being expires besides being out of stock, "We're sorry, this item is currently out of stock!"

    I don't classsify this as a bargain.
Some of these sleeves can be damaging to the discs as the sleeve top touchs and rubs the out edge of the disc, it doesn't cover the disc 100 as the sleeve isn't tall enough.

The Ebox branded sleeves are very good ones that fit the discs in correctly and cost $3 at the markets.

    • -2

why note give it -ve then?

      • You're really taking this personally aren't ya motlking?

        • -1

No, I'm not taking it personally. It was a simple question. He doesn't think its a bargain so its a fair question, why not vote -ve?

Seriously I don't give a rats now since people think whatever they like (well 16 people). Obviously the majority don't even care enough to post a comment and vote so I guess that says it all. Well that and the 3 negative votes.

I agreed its an OK deal but noway a bargain. If you think thats personal or you classify this a bargain then good luck to you sir..you won't see me responding in this post again.

          • @motlking: Sometimes I see a deal and I know it's not for me. But I can also see someone else could benefit from it so I don't neg it.

E.g. I could goto MSY often, so this is not much of a deal. But I can see this could be good for a say music enthusiast with lots of CDs…

But thanks Kim Jack for the heads up about sleeves rubbing the outer edge of discs, never really paid attention.
