Will Thermaltake Versa H21/H22 w/ 500W PSU work well with Intel i5 4460 CPU?

Or should I consider something more expensive? Any suggestion? Motherboard in mind is Asrock H97M-Pro4.

No GPU? Then good enough. The power supply is rated haswell ready so it has no issues with the haswell power saving features.

If GPU => Buy a better PSU, preferably one with a 80 Plus Bronze certification for better efficiency.

    • Thanks scrimahaw. Does it mean I will have to buy a case and a 80 plus PSU separately? Do you have any recommendation because I may consider installing a GPU later. Btw, will DDR3 1300 RAM work well with the Asrock H97M-Pro4 motherboard?

If you want an inexpensive Gold rated PSU with high efficiency, there's the $89 Silverstone ST50F-ESG

You will have to buy a case seperately, though it's generally a good idea to buy a standalone PSU and case rather than a bundle if you want to build a lasting rig. Bundled PSU's are generally of a lower standard, and you'll get what you pay for.

        • I will buy a case separately. My local MSY do not carry Silverstone PSU. Do you think ANTEC 520C Bronze will make a good alternative?

Antec is fine. The Neo Eco series don't come with their own IEC power cable in an effort to be 'environmentally concious' so you need to supply your own. Most people should have a few of these lying around from discarded monitors and power supply units.
