Elephone P3000s - Anyone Used This Brand?

Hello,

Has anyone tried/bought an Elephone, Android phone?

They look really impressive and I was thinking about getting the Elephone P3000s BUT the websites that have them in stock seem a bit dodgy.

Has anyone every used any of their phones?

I've always wanted an elephant phone :)

I'd look at Deal Extreme. Their prices aren't exactly the best, but they actually have an Aussie depot or warehouse where you can actually return items to if the phone is DOA or fails within the warranty period. This is important since Australia Post cannot deliver lithium batteries overseas and you'd have to organise a much more expensive courier.

I had to return a THL chinadroid once and it was shipped to a Sydney area. Postage is far cheaper as a result (not to mention DX actually refunds the shipping cost if it's within 90 days of purchase).

    Links bros, LINKS!

    Never seen it.

  • my work colleague has an elephone p6i. she bought it about 6 months ago after her brand phone gave up the ghost and she was sick of forking out $$$ for a brand. I've played with it and I thought it was pretty good. great response time, no lag, great camera, clear screen with nice resolution, etc. my co-worker has no complaints about it.

can't talk about the P3000s . but if you were asking if the p6i was a good phone to buy for $!00 then I'd say definitely. though I'd push you to spend a bit more to get an octacore with 2gig .

if you're going to buy the P3000s then get it from a more reputable store. e.g. merimobiles, focalprice, gearbest (it's where my co-worker got her phone)

  • Wow, I had no idea about the lithium batteries. Thanks very much.

    I'll have a p6i in a moment. Thanks :)
