OK - first post so I'm willing to learn but briefly here are the details:

  • Available instore @ $549 if you mention the facebook post.

Steelcraft Strider Compacts in Red & Green are available from Sweet Lullabies online for $599.95 including the following;

  • Strider Compact Red or Forest
  • Strider Compact Nappy Bag
  • Strider Compact 2nd Seat/Toddler Seat/Double Kit
  • The standard included accessories with a standard Compact

The catches are:

  • We don't have the facilities to deliver to some areas in QLD, NT, Tasmania and WA - but you will be notified before transaction is processed (ie we wont take your cash if we can't deliver)
  • Limited stock in store (6 at current stocktake, another 12 next week), if we run out we may be able to provide more but there will be a dispatch delay of 10 days while we wait for Britax to deliver.
  • $10 Freight charge to areas we can freight to

I checked through ebay and other stores and the cheapest I found for the package was 699.95+freight so I think this works as an ozBargain but let me know if we've done the wrong thing by posting this…

Also if anyone knows of a way for us to freight cheaply Australia wide that'd be AWESOME because our current carrier only does Victoria themselves, and the rest of the states with onforwarders…

          It's one thing to be new and learn but in my opinion if there was intent to mislead here you should simply be banned from the site.

          lol Yes we will,

          Lesson learnt - Create a new product before showing a product that was open to members of our local facebook following who got access to that special first. If you call into the store to pickup I'll make sure you get that price tag.

          Apologies if this was misleading, was certainly not my intention. Although I did know the risks of getting ripped apart very quickly.

    Really? You need better search skills. I had a quick look and found heaps of sites for $620-$640 with local pickup

      Perhaps training for a new position lol :) What a mistake! I genuinely thought it was a good deal including the Toddler Seat and Nappy bag…

      Can you post here where it is cheaper and I'll check it out…

        It is a good deal. I didn't say I found it cheaper anywhere else.

        I just said I did find many sites selling for a lot less than the "cheapest" price that you could find.

        In reality I don't believe that the cheapest price you could find is really $699 + freight. I feel you are trying to mislead us into thinking your price is a bigger reduction than the next best price.

        As already said here.. Don't think we are gullible.

          As usual the only person gullible here is me :) Our price was 749.95 on this fellah without the accessories, special prices I've seen in Melbourne are usually around 629-639…but that's without the accessories too.

          I'm the last to point fingers though…was taught when I was young when you point there are three pointing back :)

          The $699 price was the "Package" price including toddler seat & nappy bag…Apologies if I misled or wasn't clear mate,

      @Cards - they are out there for $620-640 but tehy don't include the extra seat which sells for $139-159 separately. So this is a good deal.

      This is a package clearance that's been organised by Britax so it's only the red and green colours available - We just thought it was fun for Christmas and ran (what we thought lol) was a great special.

      Any questions tho sing out via email or our website, as we will be quitely exiting ozbargain after this sale :) With our tails between our legs I think…
