      I too thought you at least needed another licensed decoder installed for VLC to play blu rays

    Yeah, and essentially almost anything else. Not much point putting several media players on your PC if one will suffice.

  Is this region free or does this lock in the region after a while? Currently using Totalmedia but since it isn't region free I stuck buying Region B Blu rays…

  Really want that Harold & Kumar collector's edition.

    Just did a quick test and I was able to play a Reagion A bluray and a region B bluray which my PS4 wont.

      Hmm… I'll give it a shot cheers! My Totalmedia theatre freezes up when i try to start a Bluray… need a new player
