you need to make sure you're looking at the right product.

Here's the one for the OP's link:

(4/5 stars, but only 2 reviews so YMMV)

      • There are a number of reviews on OO's website for this product:
        http://www.oo.com.au/Blaupunkt-Oslo-DAB-Digital-Ra_P234933.c…

Have a read of them though and keep in mind that OO normally sell this for $80. It is a mix of positive/negative but some of the reviews are just pointless. Eg.

        3/5
        Pros: It works
        Cons: Bit Big But Ok
        Best Uses: Pedro (reviewers name)

Funnily enough, the very next review is by Pedro from WA (the other Pedro was from NSW) and is actually quite useful.

I don't know. Blaupunkt does come highly recommended by Macgruber

  • Need a cheap, loud stereo/radio for Australia Day. Will this for the bill?

  • Can it run on batteries, or mains only?

    • +2

I would guess no batteries. I don't see any mention of batteries or see a battery cover in the photos.

I like the reviewer who wrote: Dad Sometimes Cuts Out. Might be useful if Dad is noisy. :)

Seriously considering this one if the sound is good. Weight seems to suggest bigger speakers unless case has a lump of iron in it.

  • Blaupunkt is just el cheapo generic stuff now. Bush own the brand. Still an ok price but not a huge bargain like the bullshit RRPs would have u believe

it's Bush Australia (owned by Harvard International plc), which is different to Bush UK (owned by Home Retail Group).
