My GF's birthday is coming up but unsure of what i should gift her.
Any suggestions?
I was thinking an iPad mini or something (waiting for a deal ;) ) or something simple. Kind of confused.
What are your suggestions, any would be appreciated?

I guess she's quite a simple person like myself.. She is a huge movie buff, enjoys a nice day out, generous, kind…
Only reason i thought of an iPad mini is because i couldn't really think of much else.. I'm terrible when it comes to that sort of thing :D

tickets to see a movie in gold class + a nice dinner
high tea somewhere
surprise picnic in the park and buy a self made hamper pack (probably more effort required for this) or if your lazy you can buy premade hampers online that get delivered
Depends how long you have been together, what you want the present to say and how much you are willing to spend. An Ipad is practical but not overly romantic, she will be happy sure but it would just lead to her laying in bed playing with the Ipad instead of you. Jewellery is more of a commitment statement but it is a better investment, my wife still wears the stuff I gave her back in the day. Cliche sure, but diamonds get you laid.

Does she like jewelry, e.g. diamonds, white gold, yellow gold and if so, is she an all-rounder or prefers rings or bracelets or necklaces or earrings etc?
I think an engraved iPad mini would be a great gift. It's something practical but you could make it romantic by loading all photos of you together on it as screen savers and make your name the password so she thinks of you every time she uses it.
iPad mini 32gb (retina) for $399…she would be pretty happy with that! Otherwise maybe tell us what things she like? It's hard to suggest things if we don't know much about the person.
