Warranty on Items from Qantas Frequent Flyer Store

Hi guys I'm looking to order a stroller from the Qantas frequent-flyer store.
Just looking for some feedback and your experience with this and how the warranty works.
Since it's a big item and costing around $400, if I run into any issues is it easier to get it replaced or fixed?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

  • No problem at all.

I bought a Breadmaker with CBA points and when it broke, called CBA. They gave me a proof of purchase and sunbeam replaced it within a week.

You have the EXACT SAME RIGHTS and PROTECTIONS as buying it in a normal store.

  • +1 per the above post

Purchased an Antler suitcase from the Qantas freq-flyer store online, and about a year later it began to split along the seams. Contacted Qantas store via email with reference to the original purchase. They provided the me the closet repair agent details for an assessment, and the luggage was repaired without issue, and at no cost.

Depending on the item, sometimes it is faster to go via the manufacturer though…..

  • Just a thought: usually the Qantas store has a bad redemption rate: can you sell your equivalent points and buy it on sale?

  • Yep +1 to the above shouldn't be any issues with warranty.

P.S It is MUCH better value to upgrade your ticket next time you fly then use your points at the store.
