Note: sheets are Cotton Sateen and not Cotton. Also, the 1200 TC is per 100mm, not 25mm (not stated that I could see on their website but noted in their feedback on their eBay store, so effectively is 300 TC). I don't know much about thread count but am just writing what other people have said FYI. May help your decision to buy or not to buy.
More threads, the smoother the feel apparently. I find high counts to be harsher, more canvas like (have found around 400 to be OK). But that could be they are all lies, like every 100mm not 25, or the other tactic of twisting two threads together to doulbe thread counts. Making the threads I would think more rope like. I also know not much about TC, but from what Ive read, theres some shady shit with it.
