[STEAM] 90% off How to Survive Storm Warning Edition US $1.99 (Previously US $19.99)

631

Anyone who's played Dead Nation and loved it will go nuts about this. I bought the base game for $7.49 previously and enjoyed every single minute playing this game. Off-beat humour, exploration, crafting and interesting story line and enemies will keep you glued from start to finish.

The storm warning edition just got released and for those who already have the base game, the link provides the option to buy all the DLC which effectively upgrades your version to the storm warning edition. Can't believe it's only US$1.99. One of the best isometric shooters out there on PS3 and PC.

Used some of the money from trading card sales and bought the Storm Warning edition. Looks like just the game I wanted to play in the holidays. Thanks mate.

I've been on steam a while…I have a few trading cards…how do I make money off them and why do people care about them if you'd be so kind? :)

      • +1

Just sell them on the Steam Marketplace. If you collect enough of them you can craft badges for your steam profile, which is why some people care about them enough to purchase them from you.

        • So basically along a similar vein to CS:GO's Gun skins - completely useless, but still sold and traded for "prestige"?

@Andy-Laa: why, you selling some holiday cards cheap :)

        • @Ebany:

Sparkles, Sage, Clementine and Blase left but as I'm in the UK, I infer only people in the UK can purchase…unsure what that does to my steam wallet in AUD, but hey-ho, let's see. If I miss out on 32p, I think I can wear that for science! ;)

Edit: aaaaand I just realised I can buy cards with the profits…okay, now I understand the cards ;)

I sold all mine last week in preparation for the sale and made ~$20.

Used the "Steam Inventory Helper" extension for Chrome. Made it much easier as I could select and list items in bulk.

One other thing I found is that I had to go into my account settings in Steam and set my location for tax purposes, otherwise they will limit the number of items you can sell each year (I think the limit was 200).

The only real advantage to the cards is converting them into badges will increase your steam level which unlocks options like larger friends lists etc.

  • Cool game!! Highly recommended!

  • Cheers

  • last time i played this game is was complete trash

If you're playing this, I would highly recommend getting a controller and playing on the same screen. Even when you play online, it locks both players onto the same screen, making progression extremely difficult if you don't have a person that's following what you're doing.

It's okay for it's price, but it does get repetitive over time and becomes somewhat stale, as well as pushing jokes too far.

  • Was going to buy this a bit higher, thanks.

  • This game is like a Dead Frontier, But with better graphic

  • does anyone know if this would run on a laptop with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD? Thanks

  • For US$1.99, I'm willing to give this a shot. Cheers OP!

  • reminds me of a cross between borderlands, fallout 1/2

  • just bought 3 gifts copies for friends and a copy for myself :D

I bought this yesterday and played for 2 hrs , kept crashing in the start vid and on the boat to and from kovacland… uninstalled promptly after

Lucky it only cost me some steam trading cards =P

    • just cause it crashed for you is hardly a reason to neg…

      • Sorta disagreed here too

"I bought the base game for $7.49 previously and enjoyed every single minute playing this game. Off-beat humour, exploration, crafting and interesting story line and enemies will keep you glued from start to finish."

Gameplay is boring, story bland, tries too hard to be like borderlands.

  • :D Thank you OP. Now I have another game that I can put on my favourite list :D
