Will need an American address to purchase

Call of Juarez is also $3.75 US

I haven't played Blood Dragon before but I've always heard good things. Call of Juarez is also a fun title for the price.

It also might be beneficial to wait around to see what Steam does with the two games as they're already bundled on Steam for $17.77US

  • Wait for Steam…. I don't know of anyone who want their primary game collection on uPlay

I'm pretty sure the steam version unfortunately also requires uPlay (IIRC it requires you to have steam AND uPlay running making it even worse).

Yep it does. Warning: This title uses 3rd party DRM (Ubisoft Uplay)

    • That's the case for almost all Ubisoft games now. Even if they're Steam compatible, they will require Uplay to run as well.

      • I don't like having all these extra clients, but I really do like that your achievements on uPlay hold some value, even if they're just a currency for DLC or other things. Steam really needs to make the achievements a lot more worth while, as it stands they're just another pointless feature Steam has along with Steam Music…

        • Even worse… Steam Trading Cards. Utterly pointless.

I agree Uplay points are actually useful but I'm not one for the whole stat-wh*ring/achievement/unlocks/perks/levelling BS. That entire paradigm to me, feels like you're only actually playing a demo of the game you payed for until you get to 50% completion or accumulate enough XP, whereupon you actually have access to all the functionality and capability you should have had from the get-go. It's not a case of "grow", "expand" or "broaden" as you play; it's essentially: half the game's fun is off-limits to you until you jump through a set of arbitrary hoops the game devs want you to jump through.

As for DLC, don't get me started on "Didn't Launch Content".

        • @Amar89: I was going to include the Trading Cards but I figured since you can make some credit off of it it's beneficial (at least a little).

I was all for achievements until I played AC: Black Flag. I got way ahead of myself and started to explore just to get the random scraps in the water. I never got to complete the game because I got completely burnt out from all the exploration. I do like exploring to find artifacts but not when there's over 500 to find for absolutely no benefit, or when they show you where every single one is on the map…
