Good, Sub $100 Food Processor?

Looking to get a unit capable of juicing (carrots), ice crushing and basic cooking/baking related mixing tasks.
The emphasis is def on the juicing tho..

Ideas?

  • Can you give an example please?

I'm not familiar with any food processors that can juice and crush/mix as they are fairly different outcomes. When you say juice carrots, do you mean blend the whole item to liquid? If you are after a more smoothie type drink and are happy with low volumes with ice etc then maybe something like the nutribullet would fit your needs. http://www.applianceretailer.com.au/2014/09/personal-blender… . I can't attest to the quality of these items though.

    • Well, I was sort of trying to cover all bases at one go but that may not be possible, at least not under the desired price bracket…
Ideally, I'd like to both extract juice from carrots (for example), and also blend and crush (ice) into liquid.
My old unit (now residing with ex) was able to do all that, including stuff like dough mixing. Was all a matter of how you setup the different pars/accessories/blades…
Come to think of it that unit was a nightmare to transform onto different modes… Same applies to cleaning…

So in a nutshell it seems like I'm after a decent juicer rather than a food processor ;)
Dual action - juice extract & juice blend/crush.

      Is there such a thing?

Was absolute perfect timing that one!
Snapped up one of these too while I was at it…

Got all my bases covered at a very modest expense ;)

    Cheers and happy holidays!
