Other Sites We Need to Know about?

I don't know about you, but I like checking OzBargain. If I could, I would check it 10x a day.

So what else is out there that currently grabs you?

Could be an old favourite, a rising star or just plain handy.

dealextreme.com always wins in my books. I refuse to pay $15 for a silcon case for an ipod, so i got on here and buy them for $1.30 including free worldwide shipping. It takes a while, ut you get it in the end.

I use this link to outbid someone, somewhere, at the last minute. There's always thousands of things ending with no bids but this filters out the junk by only showing what a real person was willing to bid on, plus there's a limit of $25 and only free postage items are shown. I think doing a search like this can give you a real insight as to the sheer number of items being traded all the time! Of course you can have a play with the categories and other settings too, but sometimes the search is too broad for it to compute, and there's already a bit of lag with this one.

    • dude, that is one awesome link. (+5!)

Also, if you want to remove jewellery, just add

      -jewlerry -bracelet -ring etc etc

to the end of those keywords.

      • Haha I'm glad you like it… "-jewellery" might work better then "-jewlerry" ;-)

        • lol both work, both the sellers and myself can't spell llol

  • I use the following sites

    http://adioso.com/
Booked return flights from Mel to Newcastle $545 for a family of 5. Always some great bargains to be had

    http://www.buckscoop.com.au/deals/
Similar to ozbargain but don't like it as much

    http://dealdump.com.au/
Gives you a summary of recent deals

    • how do you use adioso for cheap flights? like, is there a knack to it? or do you just search the same timeframe over and over again?

      • At the top of the screen there are 3 links Cheapest domestic, cheapest international and cheapest anywhere.

I have also found that quite often instead of booking return flights with one airline it works out cheaper to fly one way with one airline and return with another. We flew 2 adults 2 children and 1 baby from melbourne to Newcastle return for $545 all up.

      • Yeah. Had lunch with Tom & Fenn from Adioso a few weeks ago. Top guys — especially when they paid for my lunch :P

  • I just found the following page which seems to be updated everyday with the cheapest flights around:

    http://iwantthatflight.com.au/wp-Hot-Flights.aspx

We have great bargains on perfumes, electronics, dvds, books.

We also have a shop in Rosebery. You can find the address on our website.

  • awesome websites so far guys! keep them coming!
