I had a listen to one of these. The audio quality is bad. Poorly shielded or something as I could here lots of rf interference.

There is a earphone impedance problem but there is a workaround by making a single no-handsfree-attached call after a reboot. You problem heard that.
Well I have a galaxy s3 with wolfson audio which kills it. I also compared it to the wolfson note 4 910u which also killed it in terms of sound quality. The G3 sounds flat and the soundstage is thin. Whats worse was the background noise. If you have cheapo earphones it will sound ok I guess.,
Tested with a pair of UE900 with silver M3 upgrade cable.
Without getting into your setup is better than everyone else's argument. I have not tried the phones u mention so i can't provide comparison feedback.
My daily driver is a pair of UE TripleFi and upgraded cords so not too shabby/cheapo either.
I doubt sound quality is a concern to majority of buyers. But I am anti-samsung due to the bluecast screens.

Doubt it. There isn't any new phones being released/announced till late Feb at the world mobile congress, G4 isn't near…i wouldn't hold my breath. Recommend get it now and enjoy across xmas and new year holidays

Well I was hoping it would go to 420 with some of the comments in here.
I'll give it a week or 2 and bite the bullet and buy one(well i need 3) at current prices.
