Looking for Cheaper Fragrances with Long Shelf Life

Can anyone recommend any good places online or reasonably priced bricks and mortar shops to purchase perfume?

Anyone can check online and find dozens of discount retailers (e.g Chemist Warehouse, COTD) but the question is how old is their stock? Perfume is never labelled with a best before, but after several years depending on the perfume it may lose some of its longevity and sillage (projection) or even worse it could spoil and smell funky.

I'm worried the discounted stock at cheaper outlets is already a few years old which is why I always buy my fragrances from Myer/DJs/duty free. I checked my two current bottles on the below website and worked out the stock couldn't have been older than a year at the time of purchase. Which is good except that I'm paying almost double what the discount retailers are charging (COTD are selling boss bottled at $45 when I paid almost $100 duty free at airport).

Thanks in advance for your suggestions

Bought a Davidoff Cool Water 125ml EDT off of Chemist Warehouse for $23. Good fragrance and the batch code indicated it was produced in June 2014.

Maybe go in store and check their packaging on fragrances you want? They do have quite a few bricks and mortar stores.

I think it's CW and miss at CW. I recently bought a perfume there and its about 2yrs old, but seems to smell the same as myer. Just make sure it's box and not placed where the sun or strong light hits it.

    Cw is the best!
I usually wait for the 40% off perfume sales at priceline though.
