Aldi/Work Zone 2200w 2175psi High Pressure Cleaner, 3yrs Warranty $69 (Garden City QLD)

100

Saw this at garden city qld today. Seems ok for the price. Good timing as my $99 karcher died the other day.

Edit: also available at Sunnybank qld, but pricing is different for some reason ($76.00)

  • Was doing a post on these and got directed to this post.

They are $59.99 at varsity lakes store. Had a pallet of them. I know someone got a price match at Q centre based on mine. I will upload a pic of the price label.
3 year warranty made it tough to walk away from. Hose reel on top.

I just tested it and it's miles better than my entry level karcher. For starters it comes with a turbo lance where as the karcher doesn't, it has a10m hose on a reel where as my karcher hose is like 2m as it has a resovour for detergent which my karcher doesn't (also comes with a bottle of detergent) and also it's much quieter than the karcher. Imo this is a definite bargain for $69.00 and an absolute steal of you can get it for $59.00!

    • Good to know. Have owned 2.080. Was useless.

    any in syd.?

the base karcher is great for cleaning your armpits but doesnt work well on pavements

  • They just keep using psi

  • 150 bar max, 110 operating. 450 l/hr

  • bought one from Browns plains $ 65

  • Are pressure washers okay for cars, or are they too powerful and would strip the paint?

  • Yes, this should be safe to wash cars with. When in doubt, dial the pressure down or stand further away. Also make sure not to wash areas with high pressure where paint is already coming off.

Went to North Sydney (NSW) and they refused to price match even with only two units left. Then went to Chatswood(NSW) and the manager matched the price and changed it on the floor immediately. Approximately 10units remaining on the floor when I left.

Edit: Chatswood matched $60 so awesome buy.

    • Any chance you could message me or post a copy of the receipt?

      • Sorry mate, just saw this message. I'll try find the receipt and send you a copy.

  • I just did the rounds of the 3 Aldis closest to me in Melbourne.
The first two had no stock but the third one had a few, but they were at the original price. I asked the manager and showed him OP's image and he agreed it was the same unit but they only price match to stores in the same state.
So, if anyone sees one at that price south of the Murray, please post a pic!

  • I bought one today in NSW, quality is great unfortunately not this price but really does the balcony well!

  • I'm also looking for bargain one in Vic, anyone know any powerful with 2.1kw such as Gerni140 series?

  • I just went on a hunt for one of these - Maroochydore refused to go below their $100 advertised price. Brightwater had them for $76 and wouldn't budge. Just sucked it up and paid the $76.

  • Tried this out over the weekend. Happy with the performance. Previous Karcher did not have the adjustable nozzle. this was great- THEN I tried the turbo nozzle- really good.

  • Hi
I have also purchased this one for $70 from Jamison Centre, Macquarie, ACT. It is working great.
Only issue I faced is that when I tried to use detergent bottle it wasn't picking up detergent. So I read the manual and it said to set spray lance to low pressure by pulling forward the nozzle but I can't pull the nozzle forward. It looks like stuck at high pressure setting. Has anybody else used detergent and how easy was it to set to low pressure?
I tried bit harder and nozzle cover which is used to alter spray angle came off but nozzle not moved to low pressure setting.

I'll probably give the support a call but just wanted to make sure that I am not doing something wrong.

    • I will try. I know it twists. Did not realise it could be pulled.
