Update: received mine - didn't realise this but the luggage brand is "revelation". It's not your standard quality antler product - quality is not of the same standard at first look. Will have to see how this travels…
Didn't realise the brand was revelation? The title of both the above post and COTD webpage both lead off with the words "Revelation by Antler". In any event, there's plenty of reviews on the various Amazon sites and they review very well for durability.
Anyway, I just received mine - or rather, my wife's and am quite impressed. I was expecting the worst, but they are half the weight of every other luggage set I've had and aren't as offensive as they look in the photos. I'm actually considering borrowing them for a work trip to Europe later this month so I can use up my luggage allocation on purchases, rather than the luggage itself. As you say, time will tell how they hold up to the usual luggage handler beatings…
