Parker Urban Steel Rollerball Pen & Mechanical Pencil Set $17 + Delivery (NSW $5.50) @ Peter's Of Kensington

150

For those who like good pens. I've had a quick look around, the RRP is (as usual) set high but the pens go for round $25. This is for a pen & pencil set so not too bad.

There's also http://www.petersofkensington.com.au/Public/Parker-Urban-Ste… @ $14 plus delivery.

Urban Brushed Stainless Steel Rollerball Pen and Mechanical Pencil Set features:
Both writing instruments have a brushed, stainless steel body, which contrasts with the set’s shiny chrome trim.
Simply take the lid off the Rollerball Pen to start writing, or twist the body of the Mechanical Pencil to eject a little lead.
Blue ink for the pen and graphite lead for the mechanical pencil are included to get you started.
Beautifully presented in a deluxe brown and gold Parker gift box.

Delivery is from $5.50 (NSW) but will change depending on location.

  • Seems a decent deal.

I don't think that pencil would be a worthy replacement for my favourite reasonably priced mech though; the venerable Pentel Kerry: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006SW6YO/ref=ox_sc_act_ti…

    • How much did you pay for your Kerry in total?

Also want to point out that other brands on that site are also having decent sales like Sheaffer.

I got this deluxe calligraphy tin: http://www.petersofkensington.com.au/Public/Sheaffer-Deluxe-…

    • That's a nice set!

    Great deals
Why on the world wide web would you shop anywhere else?

"Why on the world wide web would you shop anywhere else?"

Because they don't sell the Pentel Kerry (or any Pentel pencils) :p
This is a pretty good deal, but I would never use that pencil over a Pentel Kerry or P205.
