I set up a website archiving the products offered by Aldi on weekly specials: http://offers.kd2.org/en/au/aldi/
Its purpose is to archive current offers and be able to see the history of a product, or get a notification (via RSS) when a product you're waiting for will be available soon.
Hope that will be useful. If you have any question or suggestion, feel free.
The website also archives other Aldi and Lidl stores over the world.
There's probably stacks of the historic stuff here for you to include: http://web.archive.org/web/*/www.aldi.com.au

Great idea. I can understand why some retailers would want to purge old outdated pages, but having those specials archived can be really useful for pricing / product research purpose.
aldi annoying removes all their online product details after a month or two
awesome. i like this esp when they are discounted a few weeks later.

FYI - I have ALDI emails going back to Fri, Dec 15, 2006 - all of them, not a random here and there. Sadly the pics aren't in the oldest ones I just checked but the other detail is, right down to the "… [Message clipped] View entire message (online)" , for example:

I think you have to use a desktop mail client like Thunderbird, I don't think GMail allows that. But maybe if you select all the messages and click forward?

Unfortunately Archive.org only had a handful of pictures stored so I didn't bother and lose time adding only a few pictures, so no pictures, only product description and price. Already quite useful I think.
