Had a bad experience buying nike tns from ebay. Couldn't tell they were fake until they arrived. Seller had great feedback (maybe others couldn't distinguish?) and the price was reasonable ie, not too cheap.
Bought a pair of Kayanos from COTD, they were ok.
I guess once burnt, twice shy…
A++. They can be found at this price elsewhere on occasion (e.g. Amazon when they forget to restrict shipping to Australia). But there are so many fake Kayano's on eBay these days it's simply not worth it.
Does the same apply for group deals as well?
We'll soon find out, intend to go for a lengthy trail run when they arrive

Asics in Taiwan are much cheaper (read reasonably priced) than here in ripoff Australia. I bought a pair GT-2000 Gen 2 for less than $80 from a sport shop in Taipei.
Having lived in Taiwan they cost about this much there.
Safe to assume they are fake at this price?
