    AFA: I swear none of the toothpaste with whitening in it works, after 6 months+ my teeth are still the same colour as big mac sauce

      Some people have a higher dentine content in their teeth and no amount of whitening will help.

        Foobar, you're correct, there is a natural limitation to everyone's teeth as to how white they can get. Generally, the older you get, the "yellower" your teeth may look because you build more dentine over time. Similar effect if the out layer of your teeth (enamel - usually clear/white) begins to wear out, more of the yellow dentine starts to show through. Sometime though, its easy to mix yellowness from dentine with staining thats built up over the years. Staining can usually be removed with a clean and whitening.

      reading from the web, the only thing that works are those bleaching kits you can buy,

      there was an article in the age/choice about how most tooth brightening toothpastes where a basic toothpaste with a mild abrasive, capitalism and an uninformed trusted market

    what's a typical clean and check up cost usually? Sounds good but not sure if I can make it out to Mitcham.
    Also would you advise someone with sensitive to use these whitening kits? Can they make it worse?

      Thanks for your comment and feedback about wanting the normal prices, we've listed them on the post now. Our regular prices are $60 for the checkup and $140 for the clean.

      Everyday sensitivity (from cold drinks for example) is often different to the kind of sensitivity you can get from whitening (which only happens if you use it too often). The 2 kinds are often unrelated so one does not necessarily lead to the other. Of course, like always, you should have any issues checked out by your dentist :)

      Yes that's us!

      The $230 deal you linked to is for our inchair single-visit Whitening. All treatment and results are completed in an hour. The offer we have today is for a take-home kit (with a checkup and clean), which usually takes a few days to show results.

      We did have an offer running on boxing day but decided to give our team the day off :)

    nah, tried this once from group deal voucher thingie.
    so-so.

    also the staffs tried very hard to sell their products after treatment. pointing inflated RRP and offer big discount.

    sorry but will not go again.

      Thank you for the question. The kit comes with a top and bottom whitening tray and the whitening formula. Everything you need to get started.

    I like your style rep. You seem to be very helpful and have yet to get your back up and defensive from any questions asked.
    Just so happens my wife has been looking into dental prices lately and this seems pretty cheap. Although I'm in QLD so I'll have to give it a miss.
