    Hi,

    http://dealnews.com or http://dealmac.com are pretty good…
    http://dealcoupon.com too…

Any particular things you want to buy or just after a potpourri of things?

    • Thanks holdenmg, I am actually looking for Las Vegas shows and buffets, San Francisco tours and a cheap Hawaiian Luau. I have the shopping covered coz we are Ross junkies, but if anyone know's of any other stores similar to Ross I would love to know about them.
      Thanks for the help.

Travelzoo has some good deals. They post a weekly newsletter with hotel, flight, and show deals.

Im heading to SF next month and found one of the Segway operators selling their tour cheaper on EBAY if you are looking to do that.

If you are over at Thanksgiving time, there is black Friday where you can score some good deals. Where are you heading to?

        • Thanks neil, We are going to Honolulu, Las Vegas and San Francisco. We won't be there for Thanksgiving. I will check out Ebay for the tours and shows, thanks for the advice.

There's also Marshalls Kohls and the omni present Walmart. Then if you are going to SF there's……

The Great Mall of the Bay Area in Milpitas is Northern California's largest enclosed outlet shopping mall, featuring more than 200 stores and eateries. This incredible shopping and entertainment experience includes nine full-service restaurants, an international food court, an entertainment complex, a 20-screen Great Mall movie theater multiplex, and a unique circular racetrack design that allows you to visit every store on a single level, without backtracking. Since it used to be a Ford manufacturing site (Mustang/falcon) there is also a Ford Museum. Many of the stores are clearance/factory type stores and there are hotels as well

        http://www.simon.com/mall/default.aspx?ID=1250

Its accessable by public transport http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Mall/Main_%28VTA%29#Trans…

Although much of the US is better accessed by car

Yan at ProBargainHunter is updating a list every month on all the popular bargain sites in US.

Here's last month's list of deal sites. Make your pick :)

We need more countries listed there! Anyone knows similar sites in Singapore, HK, New Zealand etc? Even for the non-English speaking countries, we can always use google translate!

  • Thanks Neil :)

  • Hey ozpete heading off this Thursday…..I have been wondering if any ozbargainers have done their trip yet. We are using our Qantas FF points once we get there to travel to Miami, New York and Las Vegas. Can't wait……Ave a great trip :)

    • Just returned from the US with my Expedia.ie tickets, absolutely NO issues at all.

I got back today as well, flew from LAX to Sydney at 10.10pm on the 8th. Had a ball and no issues at all with Qantas

We would have been on the same flight QF12

Yes that was it. It was a good flight, we hit very bad turbulence from Melbourne to LAX, so I was a bit nervous but it was very smooth and we slept the whole way home.

Same for us on the outgoing trip.

The only thing I hate is the BS always being promoted about Qantas service. The flights were excellent, food, service and overall experience.

Compared to my Virgin trip a year before which while nothing to complain about, just didn't have the same edge that the Qantas trip was, and I have flown a lot.
