The last batch I purchased looked exactly the same, but were clearly fakes. Although I can't remember where I purchased them from. Anyone buy these from COTD?

I've got my last batch from them as well, definitely fake ones, terrible quality, killed my gums :P

      • 1 batch from COTD and 1 from Kogan and both crap!

  • How can COTD sell fake stuff. They are supposed to be a legit company.

I was looking to get these. But wont now.

    • See my comment below. They will be legit but grey import and possibly not the same quality.

    • They all have to source products from suppliers who in turn get the goods from who knows where.

  • 4 pack of clones for <$2 all over eBay. Do the job here.

    • i have found the eBay clones very poor quality. You may be lucky.

I think technically these would be legitimate Oral-B products but be grey/parallel import. However, that does not mean they are the same quality as the ones we are buying from Australian stores.

I have purchased a few bulk packs of Duracell batteries from Catch of the Day and they have leaked in my electronics. I have never had a Duracell battery leak before.

Also, i purchased some Calvin Klein undies from COTD that were supposedly the same as the ones I got from Myer. The ones from Myer were made in Sri Lanka and the COTD pairs looks the same but were from China and a cheaper material.

    Buyer Beware.

    • They are Fake, atleast the ones that I got. Even COTD admitted that the product that I received might be fake and they issued full refund.

For anyone who received Fake products like me, please complain to P&G, I guess P&G will take action if they continue to receive multiple complaints against COTD.

      • Interesting. Good to hear you got a refund.

I think I saw packs of 10 at Costco yesterday. i could be wrong, but i thought they were about $35.
The good thing with Costco is they don't sell fakes and have a money back guarantee.

  • Kogan has 8 Pack for $9 (free shipping).

Or FREE if you got the $10 gift card they were giving out previously

I purchased 2 of these 4 packs. 6 stopped spinning within 2 weeks of use, 1 wouldn't fit on the head and the last 1 I have on now is about 2 days old (I expect it to stop spinning any day now). The official head that came with the toothbrush lasted over a year. Needless to say, it's cheaper for me to get the official ones.

thank guys. i was kinda unaware of the stuff they sell at COTD…and as many of you,i have purchased for my sister the "fake" oral b replacement heads in the previous deal.
after reading the comments, i won't repeat the same mistake again.
on a collateral note: i have purchased 2 sets of stanley and rogers cutleys and gave them away as presents. now i am scared to be exposed as the one who gave "fakes" as presents

    • I think you will be fine with the Stanley and Rogers cutlery sets. They also sell overstocks and end of line stuff. It is more the consumables you need to be aware of. Not that it is all bad, but may not be the same as you were expecting.

Beware, The last time I purchased replacement heads in November from COTD, they were fake. the first brush that I tried broke in my mouth with the metal bit coming off, thankfully I didn't accidentally swallow it.
I complained to P&G and sent pictures of the clearly fake brush heads compared to the legit ones that I got from Coles.
COTD issued a refund claiming that they source products from genuine source however the products that I have received may be fake, hence they offered full refund.

Save your money and buy original or if you want to buy fake there are plenty fake cheaper than COTD fakes.

    • You complained to P&G, not COTD, in order to get COTD to refund?

      • I complained to P&G informing them that COTD is selling fake Brush heads. I also complained to COTD, although I would have preferred to have original pack of brush heads shipped to me, they offered a refund as I don't think they carry the original ones.

  • Sorry guys wasnt aware they are or can be fake, will see when they arrive..

Not a bargain, just look on ebay or aliexpress and fake..

  • They might look the same, but quality is definitely not there. Not a genuine Oral-B heads.
I still have some left - use them with an old toothbrush for cleaning parts/tools/etc. ;-)
