Side trip to see the flying dogs

Hi,
We were thinking that on our next trip to Bali in June, that we want to do something different and perhaps leave Sanur for a few nights and fly off to Flores to go and see the Komodo dragons, the manta rays and of course, the flying dogs, before returning back to Sanur for a few more days of relaxation.

Has anybody done this particular trip? http://www.getyourguide.com/flores-l2555/komodo-and-rinca-5-…

The itinerary says as follows "Day 3 Rinca, overnight onboard
In the early morning we walk over the island to enjoy the magnificent panoramic views. Here you will meet the majestic Komodo Dragons! After our afternoon snorkeling-stop we sail towards an island where flying dogs live in the mangrove trees. While enjoying a magnificent sunset, you will be watching these animals, while they leave their habitat by the hundreds in search of food. A magical day!"

Well yes, it certainly sounds quite magical to us.

Being avid dog lovers, this trip certainly appeals and my questions are as follows:

Are these flying dogs purebred or are they all mutts?
Do they respond to being called Rex or Fido?
Is there any Red Bull involved?
Are schmako's typically supplied on tour or is it best if we bring a packet or two from home to save any disappointment?
Can you jump on the dogs back to go for a ride, or is that not advisable?
And lastly, can they be brought back to Australia?
Any other info and thoughts on this trip would be great.

Thanks.

Plenty of bull. I son't know if it's red though.
