Please Help Me Find New Mobile Plan

Hi OzBarginers!

I would like to get some suggestion on getting a prepaid mobile plan.
I am willing to pay up to $30/month.
What i want to have in the deal is at least 2GB mobile data and about $500 calling credit. (about 3 calls per day, average 4 min talk time.)
Currently I am with TPG, I get 1.0GB data and $500 calling credit. I pay $16/month and at least every month I go over the limit with my data by $5.

PS. Can somebody tell me why mobile plans are getting more expensive? Aren't these things supposed to get cheaper day by day?

    not sure still available or not, currently I am on 28 plan, and very happy with that, I don't make calls too much, but I do call international call.

      I wouldn't recommend them, I'm with them and I go over my contract pretty much every month. I'm on a $30 plan, I am contracted for 12 months and can't already wait till its over. They've got the worst customer seevice ever. Very rude too

    Thank you guys for the advice, I went with Vaya (Power Plan $29), it gives me $650 and 2.5GB data.
    hopefully i do not get excess charges anymore.

      Terrible idea, data is billed in 1MB increments - rather than per 1KB/10KB You will get no where near that 2.5GB!
