How safe are these sunglasses?

If they are not made from appropriate material, the long term effects could be damaging to the retina / eye

Just went to a store, my God the styles are hideous and the quality is pretty crap, considering their "was" price is $20. You can get better quality ones for that price. Wasn't worth it even for $5
