I have asked the question to Gumtree sometime back but the reply didnt make sense… Now I am in need of some stuff and hoping to find a clue here.
Is there a way to limit the search in Gumtree? For instance I am looking for curtains, but not block-out curtains. I thought I can use the (-) minus sign like eBay but it doesnt work.

Thanks but sorry this is exactly what I said: I had put in the minus sign, also tried copy and paste what you had, but the results return with block-out curtains! I wanted to exclude them. What is it that I am missing? Have you tried it?
Must be eBay crippling it. Would drive me mad to even bother knowing it's deliberately bugged, and I'd just go to spotlight and buy the fabric and pull out the sewing machine and make my own to exact specifications.
Gumtree is owned by ebay, so they keep it deliberately shit.

You may have had a space between minus and search term. Can use "search term" for exact match.
